The bowling competition takes place in 3 different locations:
Bowling Stones in Oudenaarde, Bowl Inn in Sint-Martens-Latem and O’Learys in Ghent.

3. Sportspecific info

The bowling competition is a team tournament.

Class Division

No division

Game Model

A team consists of min. 4 and max. 5 players.
Substitution of a player is possible, but the substitute can’t play in another team.
Substitution of a player is only possible between 2 games.
The teams can be either pure women teams, pure men teams or mixed by women
and men.
The full names of the team and the players have to be written on the score system.

System

All games will be played according to the European style.
All games will be played according to the Bourbon Street Pattern.
There are no lane changes in a round of 3 bowling games.
During qualification: each round counts 3 bowling games.
Teams will be qualified according to the amount of cones they overturn during the 6 qualification games.
The 28 pool winners and the 12 best teams in second place are qualified for the finals on Saturday.
Finals will be played in 2 shifts of 2 games each. Every shift counts 20 teams.
After 2 shifts, only the 16 best teams pass through.
The final will be played according to het Knock-Down system.
Each final consists of 1 game per match.
Woman are given a 5-pin advantage in each game.
Unless otherwise specified, the rules of the World Tenpin Bowling Association apply.
